Jennifer is what some would call a Domestic Goddess, she loves to cook and show off her culinary skills! Her creation here is an old-time standard in European cuisine with an extremely special and tasty twist added RED SOSS and CANADIAN APPLE SPLASH to these magnificent Savoy Cabbage Rolls.

1 savoy cabbage
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup cooked brown and wild long grain rice
2 tbsp. RED SOSS
2 28oz. can diced tomatoes
1 cup cream
3 tbsp. RED SOSS
1 tbsp. thyme
1 tbsp. Canadian Apple Splash
1 garlic clove
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. sea salt
Preheat oven at 350°.
>> Boil cabbage until soft, remove cabbage from water, separate leaves, remove hard spines, and pat dry with paper towel.
>> In a medium sauce pan, melt butter, chop and sauté onions and garlic for 3 min.
>> Add tomatoes, RED SOSS, and cream and simmer
>> Add Canadian Apple Splash, thyme, paprika, and sea salt. Cook for 2 min.
>> Mix ground beef, egg, RED SOSS, oregano and cooked rice.
>> Scoop 1 tbsp. of meat mixture into each cabbage leaf, roll up and using toothpick to keep together.
>> In a bake pan, pour 1/3 of the sauce into the bottom of the pan, place cabbage rolls on top.
>> Pour the remainder of the sauce on the cabbage rolls and place foil on top.
>> Place in oven and cook for 2 hrs. at 350°.
